I actually watched this on TV that night. I just don't remember what show. Gladys Knight is still the best of the best.Yes, I am that old. Gladys found the Jackson 5 and went on to be the best of the best.

Gladys is simply just AMAZING !!!!
What other female who is alto who has a voice that POWERFUL.
It reminds me of a pipe organ. And its ten times more intense when your sitting in front row of one of her concerts.

There's something about this performance...when I watch it I'm like...WOW this was history being made right there...if you watch Art carefully I think he is feeling the same way...it's one of those rare moments and he's feelin it...funny thing is...Gladys is just being Gladys!
