Painting is considered Kuitca's primary medium, yet the work on view in this exhibition includes steadfast engagements with drawing, theater, sculpture, and architecture. Join the artist for an illustrated conversation on working in between traditional artistic expressions, with Walker director Olga Viso, the show's coordinating curator, and Douglas Dreishpoon, exhibition curator and senior curator at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

Brilliant! Based on the talk, the art pieces are large which means that we can only appreciate his work by being at the show. This is sad in a way but the absence of the work itself allowed me to see the artist. In his words, I found true art. From Kuitca's words, I know that anything that he does or says is perfected to the level that I'd see as art. Interviewed by two great people who light themselves to guide us to the the artist they love and admire.
Thank you for sharing.
