One of the few downsides of kayak fishing, is that you're fishing from a small platform that's very close to the water. This means that it's easy to lose gear overboard, and you have to expect that you're gear is going to get wet. This episode provides some tips on how to keep your gear protected.

  • That's a cool video!

  • Was the orange kayak a OK Big Game Angler. ?

  • @tonyel120 if your rods are inside the kayak they will just bounce around a bit, sure damage can happen but not nearly as bad as if they were dumped into the water.

  • what would happen if yo were surf luanching and it flips with your rods in the kayak

  • @MrActionproductions oh ok... thanks for info!!! can I use it for rod rings, hooks and lures?

  • @VIDEOZAL WD-40 is a water displacement spray that was originally designed to prevent corrosion on nuclear missiles. It's great stuff. You can buy a can for about $6 at home depot or lowes. Just be careful not to get it on your cloths because it will bleach them.

  • What's W40?

  • @BigWorm512 I wear an Extrasport Pro Creeker.
