  • *I Wish the City would Fixit / Restored.

It Looks Haunted and Creepy & Ready to Fall Apart every time I Come to this Park

  • @westport17782010 It really is... but thankfully the city deemed it as official NYS landmark, and wont be going anywhere unless some kind of natural disaster happens.

Friends of mine have gotten grants from the park to paint the exterior walls. If you have noticed the walls of red and white stripes look alot more clear now.

  • It would have been nice if a few shots of the building in it's glory days were included ...

  • @tarotbear you can just search up shots of it you know...

  • Amazing video, I wish I could go in and take just one step, one moment to take it all in...looks like a mystical ruin tho it was created but 5 decades ago

  • @FLPanthersandMarlins I know, its an amazing place, this was my first time in there after countless years just wondering how it is to be inside it. On some very select days, you might get lucky and find the gate open.

  • I just don't get it. The extravagance of showing off to the world your place with new structures celebrating life itself and progress, revisit decades later to see really, in fact "WE DON'T CARE". It's disgraceful, and renders positive declarations of the World's Fair moot.

  • I wish the map would have been covered back in 1993 when I was painting the walls with the stripes just like the World's Fair. The map was still in great condition.

I love this building, is my baby!!

  • Thanks for posting. I visited this site in 2009 and 2010. There is something entrancing even today about the N.Y. State Pavilion. I didn't get inside, but you can look in through a locked gate. I hope they can do some restoration before it is lost. I have fond memories of the fair.

  • OMG! They had escalators in those days!

  • @trainboyrob it must have been amazjng to just stand in the center there and think of everything that had happened in it
