Museum-grade 12 inch plasma globe showing bright green and purple colors with extraordinary long plasma tendrils and a highly complex and active image. This is an original edition Light Sculpture created by Bill Parker in 1984 called "The Elegance of Truth". This is the most complicated plasma globe I have seen in 25 years of collecting plasma art. The color combination and pattern show a resemblance to another light sculpture of Bill Parker named Elegance of Becoming, but this one has more surreal hues and more extended motion. Special Thanks go to another art collector, Michael C. for keeping this sculpture so carefuly preserved and for helping me to safely acquire it. I do not know how this magic trick is performed, but I simply wanted others to see this, for without seeing it I doubt if most viewers could believe one plasma globe could sustain so many colors at the same time. There was no color enhancement or processing of the video file before uploading, and what you see came directly from my camera. Please watch and enjoy the movie in high quality if possible.

  • thanks for the advice. i found one thing that might be wrong, the power cord is 125V. do you think it might not have enough power to light up?

  • @wildtate123 Typical 125VAC power cords are usually 16 gauge wire (AWG) and should be able to easily handle at least 5 Amperes without causing noticeable resistance. If your sculpture is using more than 2.5A at typical USA household voltage of 110-120VAC a component of the power supply inside the base may have failed, or there may be a shorted or broken internal connection. Did replacing the baseplate fuse help?

  • i have number 74 of 375 but it will not light up anymore, help please!

  • @wildtate123 Check your YouTube message inbox for some suggestions that have worked for me.

  • Check you message folder. I sent button notes to you from a factory User Guide Diagram.

  • absolutely unbielievable ben checking out your globes for years finally joined site ,i recently acquired a 12 inch globe was wonder if you have seen one like it , it's under er inch plasma globe part1 and 2 read descritpion on both vids and comment if you see them can't say thanks enough for sharing your truly awesome collection w/us ..... Oh and the orange and gold globe is fantastic ,nice mix on that one , thx again

  • @bigblueiguana I have an eight inch plasma globe with a mixture similar to a Parker "Fireflower" in it with a short finger-shaped electrode like your globe. I bought it from an EBay seller, but I have no idea who actually made it. Your globe may be a "Frankenstein" piece made from parts taken from different plasma globes or a custom-made globe and base design. My best guess as to the artist for it would be Wayne Strattman with Strattman Design in Boston.
