I never leave home without mine nowdays, I just sent my cousin over to gpssatnavreviews (.) com he is in the market for the latest model.

It uses airtime to launch the map, right? That costs a lot of money

Which mobile version did you download as I can't seem to find a Viewty Smart (LG gc900) download on the amAze website? I've downloaded the VIewty (ku990) version which seems to work but it won't locate my built in GPRS receiver and therefore renders the app pointless. Hope you can help.

yes, Amaze GPS uses airtime to load the maps and does cost money. See my other review on 'WE TRAVEL' as this is totally free (even NO airtime needed ) as the maps install direct to the phone. It's ok

just in follow up to this (after a few months use) Amaze is ok (don't get me wrong) but I do find that the maps don't load up fast enough over mobile internet connection. It's soo frustrating to see the maps load up 1 mile behind my actual location. (ie: I'm at junction 18 of a motorway and it still is loading up maps for junction 17) - really not great. Sorry Amaze but they need to be much much smoother and faster to be a realistic winner. Good but let down by smoothness
