..begins with the band apparently attempting a recording session in the bath. Water seems to clog the sound of a leaden riff and lo-fi hiss. But like Smiths onstage amp fiddlings, this wilful perversity serves a purpose, in that it sharpens the impact of the crystal-clear drums that eventually kick in at 01.40.

@Mathews8507 Guessing it was edited down, pts 1& 3 on album, 2 & 4 as single. WE all know how cool that first 90 secs is, but as a single release it woulda been a nightmare of obvious comments and dummies not appreciating it.

Can somebody explain me what's the diference between this song and Bury Pts. 2+4???? Cuz it's not listed on the album tracklist....

I went to Mill Gate in Bury it wasn't the worst place ever, but not far off. There wasn't a Sainsburys or Waitrose, or even a Lidl. I bought some beer form a Boozebusters.
