@Breakdancingguru well wait, in all honesty the Sharks and Blackhawks had pretty much the exact same (only fipped) records in away games vs home games. if I remember right it was 5-1 Sharks home ice and 5-1 Blackhawks away games.

oh well, theres always 2011. i will always have Dec. 22nd, 2009 - thats the ONLY time we won against the Blackhawks this season.

Home ice doesn't mean too much... The Blackhawks had the best away record this year in the playoffs they won a lot of games away...

And Nabby is gone. Just announced today. He really isn't useful for the team. I've been saying it for 4 years... and actually, around 4 years ago, we could have gotten rid of him and picked up Ryan Miller. That would have been smart.

@Breakdancingguru in hockey anything can happen, idiots do not understand that. we are a comparable and well rounded team and I REALLY HOPE WE KEEP NABBY! rankings should determine who gets home ice advantage, but i dont put stock in rankings at this point and after the 8th seeded Ducks ended our run... where were the Ducks in 2010??? NOWHERE!

oh this series was horrible.... first round Elimination for the sharks back in 2009, that hurt..... i was turned towards the Sharks after game 6 of Sharks vs Dallas Stars went a whopping and agonizing 4 rounds of scoreless periods. they lost.... but they all wanted to play game 7 so bad that Nabby came through for the entire team and the fans... that loss was staggering but it proved to me that ANYTHING is possible, NEVER give up... and NEVER SAY DIE!

so fuck the Ducks... i'm a SHARK loyalist...

Same thing happened to the caps this year. The number one team has one the Stanley cup like 8 times TOTAL. Red Wings most recent obviously.

Ranks don't mean shit in the playoffs, and only a real hockey fan would realize that. If you honestly think rankings should determine how a team does, you're an idiot, and I doubt you are if you like hockey.
