I have BDD and so does my sister. My sis has procedures. i dont because i cant afford them. PLASTIC SURGEONS ARE BASTARDS. Very few are as honest as this guy. The surgeon even suggested my sister have surgery on a part of her face that she never even had issue with. Anyone with half a brain can see that my sister has mental health problems

Good on you saying no to this woman. That says a lot about your ethics, which are obviously exceptional; you are not in this business for the money. A lot of plastic surgeons wouldn't think twice about operating on her.

I am glad that as a female I have absolutely no desire to have any of my physical features altered. I like how I look.

i have BDD no matter how much i try to not let it control my life i can't help it it's on my mind all the time when i look at myself in the mirror i see a monster i've suffered with this for seven years if anyone has this mental problem add me i'd like to talk to someone who feels the way i do i feel so alone like nobody understands me not my family or friends

i would think that they'd check into that kind of stuff. I want plastic surgery, I have BDD too. I try not to let it take over my mind, kind of push it aside if that makes sense. Ive done hypnosis, behavioral therapy alongside w/meds. they had me on seroquil and celexa, which made me gain weight and made me develop bulemic tendencies. The behavoral therapy felt like torture.

yeah i know, i think he had the worst case of it. I have BDD and they say i have a mild case of it, although it feels terrible

Bad plastic surgery will ruin your life and its not worth it. I ended up seeing Dr. Samuel Lam who tells lies on youtube and ended up destroying my face. I can't believe he calls this monstrosity "art"...He still tells lie after lie on his website and on youtube to this day...dont fall for it like I have unless you want to look deformed. If your thinking of plastic surgery, just dont do it.

You know? I've come to realize that all those plastic surgeons could care less about their patients. The day of my consultation he mentioned a procedure that I had never thought about until then and actually agreed to it. It's all about the money to them, lives and the well being of patients mean nothing. To think I'd be satisfied but I can't, I have severe BDD. I'm glad you understand and wish you the best.
