Mark Boals 2002 burning live in tokyo!!!
Fairytales Won't Die.

Lyrics
Now the rain
has washed away the songs
Now the clowns have lost their smiles
Empty space the open stage's become
Such short a while
Has changed my world
My dreams have just been sold

Now the rain
has washed away the crowds
Now the fireworks won't burn
Dead the band
that should have played so loud
It was my turn
To live this show
Where did my day just go?

I will not let you see me cry
I'm too proud to let go my dreams
And this way fairy tales won't die
And the witch soon will dry my tears.

Now those feelings
seem so close to me
Now it's you to cause my pain
Yesterday is just a past today
There is no rain
If you believe
Your dreams will always live

I will not let you see me cry
I'm too proud to to let go my dreams
And this way fairy tales won't die
And the witch soon will dry my tears.

  • ...i'm somewhat a Coverdale fan, and well, unless there's some newly uncovered vault of material, i can't fathom that we'll ever hear him attempting anything approaching this. Have seen Mark live twice, and the guy is capable of hitting highs that 'll make your head explode. Just my opinion....

  • ...tweeking sound issues. Maybe mark dumped this from his repertoire, maybe not. But i think Mark is adventureous, bold in his choice of material, and i have every confidence he could perform this perfectly at some point if he really wanted to. It isn't horrible though--far from it, and he he appears to be having fun in trying. Mark is definitely a world--class singer. Having seen Jorn Lande perform live, he may have pipes, but wasn't much in the way of expression. Mark has that in spades...

  • to the average listener of music, this can be considered very fantastic, and there's nothing wrong with that. This isn't, oh, Mick Jagger trying, forcing something totally and utterly out of his realm of capability. On the one hand, for demanding pieces it can be a matter of where it is in the set, that may need to be adjusted. Conditions like rest, humidity can play also. Is this a 1st attempt? Learning to approach a particular piece can seem can seem cumbersome in light of that and possibly...

  • I guess it's pointless in discussion best songer, drummer etc... But I can't help noticing that Mark actually misses quite a few notes and to even compare him with singers as Russel Allen, Jorn Lande or even David Coverdale is a bit too much. He isn't that good... I guess anyone who thinks so is doing that because he/she likes the music.. which isn't bad at all :)

  • @loldacz It's Vitalij Kuprij. He's a classically trained, award-winning Ukraine-American musician. He has his own prog-metal band "Artension".

  • @loldacz Vitalij Kaprij Pronounced like vutalee kupree.

  • nobody can sing like mark boals or michael kiske nobody its impossible mark boals is a phenomenal vocalist with a amazingly strong head voice

  • Does anybody knows, who plays on that piano?

  • The best!!
