i read this story just last week. My teacher said Orpheus had to look back at Euryduce or the story would just go on and it would be boring. idk its just her opinion and in a way its kinda fair because Orpheus had to trust Euryduce was following him, but he didnt so he looked back showing he didnt trust her. well thats my opinion anyways.

makes me think of the dante's inferno superbowl trailer, seeing your loved one being sucked into hell, especially makes me think of the song that plays during it "ain't no sunshine when she's gone" I'm sure that's how orpheus felt, what is life without the one you love?
