Girls.. this little song tells a story - don't over do the make up LOL
FABULOUS 60's dance number.... and an absolute favourite of mine.
In the early 70's, my sister and myself when 6 & 8, found this record among a stack of my mum's old 45s. We played it everyday - sometimes several times over and over. We had an old mono record player, the type where you could stack around 10 45s at once, or, leave the steadying arm open and the same record would play again and again. We would sing and dance around our bedroom.... what a great sound! (the song not our singing :D )
I finally found this song on cd, after looking for a few years.
When my sister was round, I played it for her... saying ''remember this?''
Bear in mind she hadn't heard it since she was around 8.
She remembered all the words, and both of us were instantly back in our bedroom some 36 years ago - singing, dancing and collapsing in laughter at the end!
BRILLIANT.
Dedicated to my sister ... Julie :D X
The Brook Brothers were a British version of The Everly Bros, very talented - with some good harmonised songs... but Warpaint was the BEST!

Btw: I still have this on the original vinyl 45 :D
