If it was "no big deal" or "just a mistake" why did it have to be repeated? Which bible did he use the second time when it was not filmed? I hate to be skeptical, but this is the first President that had to have his swearing in repeated. If he can't get that right, how the heck is he going to bring about all this change he promised?

yep, he def rushed it, and.. the judge paused after he said ''I barack obama'' and then interupted him half way through his sentence. Anyway, I think he will be a Good president.

if you would have been paying attention you would have heard that Roberts reversed words in the oath which confused Obama. the news anchors on NBC that i was watching stated right after that this is the first inauguration for Roberts as chief justice and that Roberts was nervous. you can read about it - Search Google or Yahoo! for chief justice roberts, under News Results, 4th heading down - on Yahoo! there's a link that reads: First inauguration for Roberts as chief justice, he stumbles on oath

The chief justice doing the swearing in messed up. In 2005, then Senator Obama voted AGAINST him for his nomination. I believe the chief justice messed up the wording on purpose to make our new President look bad in front of the world. President Obama caught the mistake and stopped until the wording was fixed.

The judge fuc'ed up. He rushed his lines and also mixed up the second lines. He said that I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully when he was supposed to say I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States. Even when Obama gave him a chance to say it right the Judge still fuc up. At 0:41 it sounds like the Judge said that I will faithfully suppress office of president of the United States faithfully. Obama still said it right though.

i looked at previous oaths, nixton, carter, clinton, bush, they all do "i faithfully". Only Roberts placed "faithfully" at the end of the sentence. I got that got obama confused. In addition, Roberts said" so help you God" instead of "so help me God".
