  • nice paint job Head Hard Hat I found an Ammo Box I am going to paint my box to look like sage brush

  • @geomodelrailroader Excellent idea. Let me know how it turns out.

  • muggles? :p

  • @CannibalKlok Yep Muggles, In geocaching someone once described a muggle as someone who doesn't know what geocaching is. We know it was borrowed from Harry Potter but the concept is the same. The name just stuck.

    Great question. -HHH

  • @CannibalKlok Muggles are people who do not know what geocaching is. Kind of like how they are people who do not know the world of magic in Harry Potter. The name just stuck for geocaching.

  • nice job but, what's the big deal

with all the military writing on it?

    cheaper than dirt sell them

    with it on..so i guess it's o.k. right?

  • Further tips:

Before painting clean the AMMO can to remove any oils or grease on it. Also, a quick sanding with 100 grit or so sandpaper would help the paint adhere longer.

  • Hey u deleted my comment not cool

  • i have an old ww2 ammo box should i paint it or just try to clean the rust off

  • heh nice

  • ????? where did that hair come from i did not see it n other videos

  • I think it would have blended into its surroundings better before the paint job, just place it on the side with the yellow identifications. it also provides a cool authentic look to it and due to its non-solid color, it may have blended in abit more

  • @headhardhat thanks HHH I will tell you how it went when I get the paint

  • @headhardhat I just need to find some paint
