A school project done in 2007 with two others students. It was written in Java with the JOGL api (Java bindings for OpenGL)
http://kenai.com/projects/jogl/pages/Home
and Tritonus
http://www.tritonus.org/

The sound effects are from the game EtherVapor.

  • @eManifestation

Exactly! I love the concept of this game but I'm so bad at it ^^

  • killer teapot!

    great-looking game

"don't really have the time to work on it"

    style2ouf?

    spending time breakdancing eh?

without JOGL, do you have to use another language like C++ with OpenGL?

how much longer would the game take to make with C++ instead of JOGL and Java?

  • Hehe you got it, actually I'm not breakdancing but I used to dance poppin and now I'm more in Hip Hop Newstyle.

You can use OpenGL with a lot of languages as long as there is a binding or port for it.

I don't know if it would take longer or not to make it with C++. It depends of many factors like how well you know each langage, if you use external libs or not, etc...

  • Would you mind sharing where you got your sound effects? They are very cool. Or did you make all of the music yourself? The project looks absolutely phenomenal! Keep up the good work, and please let me know when it is available for download!

  • I took them from the game EtherVapor without their permission (yeah I know it's bad, my apologize)
