The Wild Tchoupitoulas Mardi Gras Indians at the sacred ground of Washington and LaSalle Streets in New Orleans, one of the most important corners in American musical & cultural history ~ despite decades of disinvestment and the demolition of the Magnolia visited upon the neighborhood by HUD and a private real estate development firm a year ago - the neighborhood remains a significant community gathering place, as it has for more than a hundred years.....
This is the new generation of the Wild Tchoupitoulas, a group that gained considerable fame in the 1970's when the late Big Chief Jolly and his nephews the Neville Brothers recorded one of the first New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian albums, the self-titled "Wild Tchoupitoulas".

But i do know what it feels like to leave a place that you care deeply about . To all the people that were forced to leave , and want to return i hope you get to go back soon . Never give up !!
