listening to bands like pscyroptic makes me wonder why do bands like manowar declare themselves as true metal? not metal, i'll give them that much credit for playing guitars and drums, but true metal? not so sure...

I disagree. I think Ob(Servant) is their best effort yet, with Symbols Of Failure coming in at a very close second. But hey, our disagreement just means that they move and progress as a band, so some people like their early stuff, others their later stuff. All of it is better than anything on the radio. :)
