You're suppose to put all of the weight into your shoulders and arms !
You head is only suppose to touch lightly as if your able to still slip a piece of paper underneath! =]

Yes!! Your weight must be in your shoulders, arms, and ABS! To do a proper headstand, you must be sure to keep lifting the shoulders down and back, away from your neck. Press into your elbows and sides of the arms and hands. Also, engage your ribcage, pull in your belly and imagine extending the legs up to the ceiling. Good alignment in a headstand involves often having the legs further back than you might imagine b/c it could result in toppling over. Hence why its good to have a spot.

Hi, I have some trouble with the handstand, when i bring my hips above my shoulders, by wrists hurt a lot and i am afraid to push any further to get my other leg up as well. Do i do something wrong or should i do something to strengthen my wrists? thank you :)
