  • 2:19 It wont let you go faster than 81 mph? I just lost all interest in electric cars.

  • @Eragon7985 The driving appeal of an electric car is actually the torque curve. It gives you a real shove in the back from a standing start, which makes them a real blast to drive, even at low speeds. You have a lot more fun driving around town in an electric car than you ever do with a conventional car, simply because of the characteristics of the power plant.

  • I've been talking with some people from Mitsubishi, and in about two years I'm planning on getting one. It won't be available in my area until Nov, 2012, and I assume that battery technology will advance by late 2013 that the range on a charge will be improved.

  • @yakovgolyadkin Mitsubishi are working on various different versions of this car. There will be a lower cost version in 2012 with a lower range, and I believe that a longer range version is on the cards as well - but don't quote me on that.

  • who cares if its good on fuel and zippy, look at the thing, more ugly that a turd

  • Price of petrol 140p/litre average car travels 10km per litre this car does 145km for the same price that is a 1450% improvement and then look at your bank balance after 5 years.

  • I love the car. Why is this chap standing there shaking his hands!?! I do NOT want to look at this dude. We want to see the dang car!!!

  • @firstmusic00 Where in Dallas will you find someone who cares about the speed limit? =P

  • @Eragon7985 Where in the States is the speed limit over 81 MPH?

  • @Eragon7985 If you are concerned about speed, get a Telsa Roadster. You can only go like 50 miles on a charge, but beat the hell out of a Lotus Elise around a track.
