a short film made in 1987 - devised by steve grainger, alistair jolley & timothy didymus. featuring alistair jolley, timothy didymus and robert manners. directed, shot and scored by steve grainger. filmed on super8, edited digitally from surviving footage by timothy didymus and steve grainger.

folly: An allegorical episode concerning transmogrification and its agencies. Al Jolley plays a man trapped inside himself (he controls his zombie-like outer figure from within his suitcase) who is condemned to wander the earth aimlessly. In the story he seeks freedom by sacrificing his life and to this end he magnetizes an unwitting angel of death - in the form of the car driver (played by Timothy Didymus) who is meant to find and kill him, but in doing so, the agent is in turn condemned to the same condition - and the cycle continues...
