Hi, the reason for the cover, is after teaching for 14 hours a day, I would go home with a numb arm, because the edge of the PRS is relatively pointed, and would cut off circulation to my hand. The cover provides the ability to "pad" the edge so that I can continue playing without injuring myself.

hey
i was wondering i have a guitar strap but one end is smaller than the other how is it supposed to go?

Probably the bigger end goes at the end of the guitar to support it, but really have to see it. Usually, the buckle is NOT on your shoulder. It is towards the other end, unless you are a pretty big person.
