Truck pushes car sideways down A1

Truck driver doesn't notice hes hit a car that swerved in front of him and since the road is wet just pushes him down the A1 sideways

The scene was filmed on a mobile phone by another motorist. At one point someone shouts: "He hasn't seen it."

The owners of the lorry, Cheshire-based Arclid Transport, and West Yorkshire Police are investigating the incident.

A spokesman from the company said: "There was an incident between a car and one of our vehicles in January.

"Since seeing the footage from YouTube we are investigating."

He added that he believed the female driver of the Clio had not been injured in the incident.

The company said the lorry driver was sent home on Wednesday, when the video emerged on the internet.

He added that the accident happened on 13 January and police had investigated, but to date no action had been taken against the lorry driver.

Lets make it clear. The Car hit the lorry, it was the the careless driving of the car driver that caused this, does she get suspended from her job, arrested, and blamed by so many people.No because the general public hate truck drivers!

Totally fake. Car is suspended on the front of the tractor. You'd have to be a complete fucking moron to believe otherwise. It's a fucking stunt. Like the truck driver would just continue without hitting the brakes and just drive on like it's nothing. Notice the lack of any smoke/sparks etc.. from what would be the remains of the wheels after the tires had been scrubbed off etc...s

@mrspivvy ok spic that truck only has around 300 hp and 600 pounds of torque. Myy duramax has 500 hp and 1029 pounds of torque and i would know if i was pushing a car sideways down the highway. And if it really happended it was staged so go fist yourself beaner

@duramaxin81 no, you really couldn't. those DAFs have a 7 ft blind spot in front of the cab, and with the sort of power they have you wouldnt notice an extra ton
