or 30% and GRADUALLY stepping up to 50 or even 70%...I get mine off ebay for less than $8 for 1oz of gly acid...oh, I forgot...I use the hyaluronic acid serum, spray my face lightly with a mineral water spray (optional) and then use Bio-Oil all over my face and n eck...I've eliminated fine lines and sun damage and my face is sooo soft!!!

OHMYGAWD!!! 6 minutes for a initial peel?? NOOO...waaay too long..6 minutes is the maximum u should leave ur peel on and thats in the 6th week of the cycle. U should try 1 min for the 1st week, 2min for the 2nd week and so on..i know u said u have a "tough hyde" but try the 1 min guideline...u can always apply a second time a day after if u feel u need more...also hylauronic acid serum is the BEST after a glycolic peel...u can get 2oz pure on amazon for $16 Also try starting with a 20% o

I'm interested to see how my face turns out, I think I should have gone for a higher % glycolic, I did 20% left it on for 2 minutes like the directions said, but I notice most peoples faces turn pink/red before they neutralize it, mine didn't but I do like what I'm seeing so far my face seems a tiny bit tighter and my skin is uber soft.

I use a 20% glycolic peel and I have very sensitive skin. Occasionally if I leave it on for too long I get really irritated and get red patches. The one thing I found to soothe my skin is Darphin Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum. It's pretty expensive but it works WONDERS!!! I didn't want to buy it at first because of the price, but the lady at the counter gave me samples and it made an immediate difference! The patches were gone after only 2 applications! Really worth the splurge!

sorry, ran out of space...i was wanting to ask, my skin the next morning looks completely normal again, and i have pale fair skin, so i was wondering why yours would look so red days later but mine looks normal?
Vaseline is best for after the chemical peel if you don't have anything around. Just slather it on there. I really like the 65% lactic peel. Anyway your skin is on its way to looking gorgeous. If you find that you have large pores try witch hazel and aspirin as a toner when your skin is back to normal. There are tutorials on it on youtube. It really does shrink those pesky pores.

@broganrayne I'm using an organic aloe gel mixed with my favorite thick moisturizer. My pores are, alas, scarred into being so fail. I use witch hazel and aspirin masks and salicylic acid to dig out the clogs.
Next week, The TCA Peel...melt off old face, grow new face, hope for best.

I have 10% and 40% Glycolic acid peel. I did 10% a few times and left it on for 60 seconds and burnt the crap out of my face. I'm glad it worked better for you. I use Retin- A cream and it's helped my skin a little bit.

@LauraInCali I got a tough hide, so I can happily fry away at the higher percentages with little more than a tingle and some peelies. I should be off to the derm in a week or ...8 (why so overbooked, Derm-Lady?) and will make my pitch for Retin-A Micro.

Well...I am glad it wasn't painful!!! I have a friend that did some sort of laser dermabrasion at a spa and they promised it would not be painful...her face was red and swollen for a week. Hope this works out well for ya!

@TheJababy69 I just did a 9 minute peel and was itchy for about five minutes after I washed the acid off and that was it. Slow progress is slow...but there IS some progress.
