@othlover212 Nick and Sharon's marriage was ALREADY dead when Nick hooked up with Phyllis. If I remember correctly Sharon was already acting cold and distant towards Nick when Cassie died (the death of a child can do that to any couple) and whatever love there was wasn't there anymore. Nick only put up with Sharon for Noah's sake, but he realized this was no longer a happy family. No, Nick walked out on Sharon long before he got with Phyllis, to put his life into perspective.
