  • dthompson32 and Laura, I emailed you a few months ago about your experience getting a guide dog. Well, I'm proud to announce that I just graduated from the September class with my first new guide dog Dodie -a black Lab!

  • That is terrific! I'm sure you and Dodie are getting along wonderfully about now!

  • Where are guide dogs allowed to eliminate on cruise ships? I thought it was neat the way you took her with you on the carribbean cruise.

  • Disney is very good about providing a baby pool filled with sod on your balcony for the dogs. They figure it out immediately. We try to take all of the dogs we raise on at least one cruise, and encourage their partners to get out and enjoy life.

  • Oh WoW! I am also a puppy raiser for SEGD, raising puppy number 5, Will. I am in Texas. This video brought tears to my eyes and I remembered a puppy raiser day I had last year when my AC was matched. Awesome video.

  • Thank you for the compliments! Please introduce yourself if you come to the Walk-a-thon next year.
