I'm So Afraid: Guitar Cover, Fleetwood Mac, Full Song

"I'm So Afriad" by Lindsey Buckingham off of Fleetwood Mac's 1997 live 'The Dance' album (great album). Not a song you'd hear on the radio often or anything like that, but it's a great song with some good guitar work, which I don't always have exactly right here, since I did this all by ear as usual. Lindsey Buckingham is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time; his skills are often cramped by the studio and that's all most people ever hear from him. Go see him live, either solo or with Fleetwood Mac and you'll be awed by his work. "Big Love" off 'The Dance' is a good example of how sick he is at guitar. Anyway, hope y'all enjoy this slightly sloppy cover.

Really quite good compared to other covers done on this song here at youtube. I give it 4 stars. Missed out on the 5th star for only two reasons.

1. The timing is way off on several parts of the 2nd solo.

2. This song simply cannot be played with a pick and sound accurate. The pick itself imparts a harshness to the sound which is very much mellow compared to the fingerpicking used by Lindsey himself.

Excellent job all around though.

You call him sick? If it's to emphasise he's excessively skilled, I agree. If not, :0. Two facts about him surprise me, though. One is that he prefers fingerpicking, to the point where he rarely, if ever, uses an actual pick. Another fun fact: it may---and probably will---come as a complete surprise to all you that Buckingham never took a guitar lesson. When I first read that, I was like WTH?
