@BJBEnterprises Thanks! I am using a one to one mix and pour envirotex lite. I have castin' craft mold release. I plan on casting some realistic candies for an upcoming photo shoot, and have ordered some soap / wax urethane molds usually used for candle and soap making. I will let you know how it turns out! *fingers crossed

I want that!

Any idea on how the icicle mold was created or how to purchase?

It sure did, it made the material harder and more stable as a material. It was a must at Disney since they only like to do things the cheap way in a round about way of things but for 'Tokyo Disney' not one expense was spared so this could be done in a more effective way.

Do you find a big difference with the pressure pot... Im doing some Car tail lights that are 1000 mm long and 45 mm x 50 mm.. wondering if its worth making a special pressure chamber... Using a Barnes ( BJB ) WC 782

I used this 784 to make gems for Tokyo Disney Sea. It was poured into Platinum molds (for repeated uses) after degassing, they then went into a pressure pot and heated to about 24 degrees Celsius. The end result was fantastic!
can resin be used in polyurethane molds, or just sillicone ones?

@malveytj Good question. Many people use urethane molds as well as silicone molds. In fact, urethane molds in some cases can last longer than silicone. With a urethane mold you MUST use a mold release if you plan to pour in different types of resin systems. A silicone mold is technically self-releasing but that self-releasing property has a limited life as it is used and ages. Silicone can typically produce a much higher finish than a urethane mold but for some parts it is not not necessary.
