Bill Monroe's old Bluegrass classic in a 'slightly' different arrangement, to put it gently! Backing track laid down in the '70s (my most productive decade, indeed!), while the lead guitar parts was added in the '80s using a simple 4-track Yamaha cassette deck. Havn't got the slightest idea of what
guitars I used, except that the rhythm part was probably the Gretsch Country Gent. But the lead might have been a Washburn WP-80 'Les Paul'. Not much more to add other than I also did a straight instru version of this one with the same backing (which you've probably already know if you've scrolled through my HCB Playlist here on YT) because I thought it turned out too 'lame' vocal wise so I erased the vocal part and turned it into a hasty recorded instru instead. Not one of my brightest moments in recording history, but I'm just strolling through what I have in the comp at the moment before it decides to break down again (ain't nowadays technical wizardry really a pain in the ass, with digital stuff all over the place that never quite work when you need 'em the most, ha!). Keep rockin'...
