This video shows the quickest and cheapest way to fix speakers with hot glue. Sounds from radio stations were used to test the speakers. Some static sounds originating from the old radio receiver can also be heard.

  • @biguglytrux The main characteristic of hot glue is that it remains flexible. You can bed a stick of hot glue in the shape of a circle. Although the nail polish hardens into a thin rigid layer and the toilet paper seems to be much too weak for a constantly vibrating surface, when you used them together the mix should work just fine. If the patch outlasts the section that did not need any repair (if the patch is not the weakest point) then it is a permanent fix. For a tear in the cone: hot glue

  • frequency response sounds good. i always wanted to try hot glue guns. for small spkrs, i have had success with toilet tissue paper, torn into small pieces, just enough to cover the tear in the original spkr paper, and brush over with clear nail polish.
