I am really proud of the prof, I think that it's time for the Somali people to realize that talking will not get you anywhere. And the lady no disrespect to her or anything, I think she didn't get what the prof. was saying. I agree that Somalis need to unite as one. For instance in MN there are many community organizations made to help the people, but each of them are in a building with poor environment. They all get money from the state and they use that money to better themselves only.

This guy is right in term of his objectives. No unity, No leadership, Religion become/used a way of acheafing a goal.

I would rather use diffrent word then Bloody business to Quran.

But, they 'religous leaders" represented the holly qur'an this way.

In 2012-2020 Somalia will not have the necessary and sufficient conditions of change on the idea of united Somalia with one powerful President Prof. Samater (example). 95% of Somalis do not have college degree, or High-School. For 90% of Somalis like to follow any religious or tribal leader, than any Western Professor. Ethiopia, S-land and Puntland tribes want to colonize other Somali tribes and regions forever. Only U.S. can capture Somalia and change it into democratic country.

The rules of the game has evolved over the last 3 decays:

*tribalism

*ideology

*religion

Ideology was the closest hope we had, not that it's better than religion(if it used accordingly) but the eminent of Europeans watchful eyes for Islamist around the world wouldn't allow it directly or indirectly as they done it so to Union of Islamic Courts regardless of their achievements. Arabs & Euros have always been partners to destroy Africans Muslims or not.

Those who blame religion and Islam for the problems in Somalia(and the world) are not capable of deep thinking and understanding. Somalia has had Islam for 1400 yrs and the problems started 30 yrs ago.C'mon, do the Math! Somalia has inner conflicts as well as outer interventions and ideology invading it. The global Wahabi ideology has reeached Somalia and inshallah will end oneday but do not take the "easy way out" and blame the whole problem on Islam.
