  • oh my that system is madness

  • The North American ( or at least the U.S.) model does not have an internal pump...thank God!!! Soooo much easier to service boilers without internal pumps, expansion tanks, etc.

  • also, why so many pumps? the boiler has an internal pump here, the only extra pump needed would be on the hot water

  • when we fit those in the UK we use a magnetic filter on the return to protect the heat exchanger , the boiler in our version has an internal diverter valve to allow a separate flow and return to both the heating circuits and the hot water circuit, that way you can make best use of the weather compensation option and boost the boiler to heat the water without raising the heating circuit temps at the same time,

  • No low loss header!! Why have your return enter the primary loop before supplying other loops? Might also want to consider a wye strainer on the primary loop return since there are cast iron radiators in the system ( a low loss header would also reduce the chances of scale from the rads entering the boiler). I'm happy to see the vitodens installed ( instead of a BAXI)!!!!

  • the design is amazing... so neat and organized!!!
