Chris Medina, an American Idol contestant, was such an inspiration to me and I'm sure to many others. It's the perfect song to remind us that we should never abandon/leave those whom we love and who love us.

A promise to be there for someone doesn't end just because of an unexpected situation - a promise made is a promise kept forever. Keep it close to your heart.

This rendition of mine (played by ear) can never be as good as the original but I hope you'll find the meaning to this song. Thank you for all the support.
