  • very beautiful bird. Did you guys ever get the house finished? :)

  • @demonlord379 Thanks for asking if we ever got the house finished. The main floor is almost done. We've saved the most expensive projects for last (kitchen/bath). Got financially sidetracked by having to put on a new roof. Ouch.

  • I see you have a Bob Elgas print in the back. The Hyacinths. I have the same print.

Have the one with the two scarlets too. We have two of the baby's (now 11 years old) from a clutch from those scarlets he painted. I love his work. Love Cosmo!

  • @RebelwithMacaws That's a great print, isn't it? I raised a Hyacinth baby for the Toledo Zoo, and they gave me the print.

  • lol so funny!!!!!

  • no twosock it depends on the type of cockatoo you get. My cockatoo is great her name is Jasmine she doesnt scream cause we dont give her the opportunity to. And hse doesnt bit cause we dont give her the opportunity to do that either. And about the strong beack thing.... it depends on the cockatoo my sulfer crested cockatoo's beack really isnt that big so...

HAHA and that lady that replied to you comment even said that cosmo didnt do thhat to the door they did! HAHA

  • LOL

  • About the wood, I find If you carefully remove all the woodwork in the room and mark the back, so you know where it goes back. The stripping is easier and it comes out better. This way you also have a chance to skim coat the walls with plaster, and make those new as well before you reinstall your perfectly stripped and finished moldings. I do this for a living. I also have a Macaw named Charlie and a Grey named Woody. I hope I was some help to you. Brahm

  • Do you think a cockatoo could be trained to chew up the wood you give him to chew up but not the furniture?

  • he kinda trys to dance to the beat! i love it
