Good to hear your amp has good efficiency.
Al dough the have wave designs have got excellent efficiency, the 2nd harmonic is quite strong and needs more attention than the 1/4 wave design.

Well, that's not what I experienced. You can see different designs and efficiencies in "nd2x.net". I used it during 2004 to 2007 then I qrt on 144Mhz EME from LU`s.

Interesante el amplificador para 2m ,yo intente hacer uno con una lampara 6146 mas o menos basandome en un libro viejo de radio relay leage pero falle miserablemente nunca anduvo por algun motivo no logre hacer que entre en resonancia y simplemente nuca anduvo,,, como es la fuente para este equipo te bobimaste el trafo vos mismo 2000 y pico de volts es algo ya que respetar,, un abrazo. Para Chancho,, el ampli es para trasmision de radio no es de audio o musica .Un abrazo ernesto.
