Sorry for the simple question, but how did you hook the midi cables up in order to play from the keyboard into the MPC's sequencer all while recording the Microkorg?

The way that you're doing it is much better than tapping the MPC's pads to trigger the Microkorg.

Hi!

The microkorg and the mpc are connected "handshake", the midi out of the microkorg into the midi in of the MPC and the MPC out A is connected to the microkorg midi in.

In this way you can play the notes on the keyboard and record them into the sequencer without messing with the pads.

You have to select on the mpc track the midi channel and mpc midi out connected to the korg (1A in my case) , press step recording ...

Si , se setti così in loop la tastiera deve essere in local off.

La cosa più pratica è decidere qual'è il seq master e collegare la tastiera (midi out) al seq(midi in) e usare l'altro generatore/seq in slave oppure proprio come modulo.

Con tastiere non midi non è possibile.

non avendo alcuna tastiera midi posso operare cosi:

1-midi out tastiera>midi in seq o groovebox etc>midi out seq o groovebox>mid in mpc>midi out mpc>midi in tastiera midi? (poi ovviamente si deve aprire la traccia in step) può andare così?

in ogni caso con tastiere "non midi" mi pare non sia possibile, no?

in pratica ho usato una traccia del seq midi dell'mpc per registrare (in step) e pilotare il microkorg.

il korg è collegato sia in midi in che out.

quindi suonando la sua tastiera ho registrato le note sul seq e poi l'mpc le ha risuonate tramite midi out pilotando il mk.
