A message for conservatives who dislike Ron Paul

Look conservatives...I know your idea of a Paul campaign sends shivers down your spine because of his anti-war message...but look at the bigger picture...aside from the war, you agree with most if not all of his ideas, further most of the country is against the war in Iraq, and because of that a Dem will take office if we don't elect Ron Paul.

@miasmablk Exactly. Thomas Jefferson and Grover Cleveland, both Democrats and liberals were for small government. It wasn't until the late 19th century when the progressive movement come about and started to twist the meaning of liberalism to a form of statism. It's a shame too because conservatives today bash "liberals" when they should bash "progressives", because I would like my label back. Libertarianism sometimes confuses people LOL

I'm a struggling conservative myself, but this is a stupid question. There are many Conservative Leaders, out there, backing Ron Paul. As one stated, " Paul is the true Republican Conservative in the race". "He actually lives by his Conservativism, not uses them for politics, gain, or wealth". Why should they vote for Ron Paul? Your ignorance is one reason why I question my Conservativism. Why are Conservatives, so eager to sell out America, for those that are profiting on dead soldiers?
