Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers remind you that if you fail to do something or don't live up to your own expectations, you just have to "pick yourself up, dust yourself off, start all over again." If you fail to do your 30-minutes of walking a day or if you don't eat as many fruits and vegetables as you should, don't give up or get down on yourself. Just "pick yourself up, dust yourself off, start all over again."
I just LOVE this song! And THIS version!

I sang this song while I was going fishing the other day after not catching anything for a hour and a half. Finally after singing this song over and over again, I finally caught my first fish of the day and then they came pouring in after that. This truly is the perfect song to sing while trying to be patient. :)

@meggiemeown I believe there is a reference for this song in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"(Steve Martin dance scene), as well. He dosn't sing the sing the lyrics, but the tune is recognizeable!

I play this tune every time I'm blue. So it was great to find the film today. Thanks!

I keep singing this to myself, I need it now, and just watched, "Home For the Holidays", where Dylan McDermott references this song. What a great clip, btw.
