    To expand on TimmiRueckwaerts' comment, it's The Primitives' Way Behind Me + a sped up version of the guitar riff from MBV's Never Say Goodbye. All told, a tribute to Lazy Records circa '87. And there's nowt wrong with that.

    These guys have great musical influences. The trick is to rely less on them as they find their own distinct "voice". Most people start out relying heavily on their influences; the better ones move on (whilst concealing the copying as best they can in the meantime). I don't see these guys sounding like MBV/JAMC clones ten, even five, years from now. I'll bet they've got some really good stuff ahead of them.
