@protomurphy13 It's not not really a matter of what "force" was used, but rather WHY that force was used. They did absolutely nothing wrong. I don't side with the protesters necessarily but the fact is that as American's we simply have the right to protest. It is what it is! Whether you believe in what they are protesting or not. They still have that right and as a non violent protest, there is simply no need for forced removal of them. They posed no health or safety risks. Just let 'em whine

I talked to some cops and They said BLOCKING A SIDEWALK to a business is against the Law. Not only that, breaking a law and chanting FUCK THE POLICE. It's not wonder they got sprayed. Sorry guys, can't agree with you on this one today.

I grow up in Davis and what the students did to intimidate the police is completely out of line. UCD should have higher standards for civility and expel these bums.
