There's nothing offensive in the scene. It's hilarious just like the rest of the movie, which ALSO makes affectionate fun of gymnastics. People need to develop a sense of humor. If anyone assumes that gymnasts are "girly" and "frilly frilly" it's because some of them take the sport so d*mn seriously, they can't recognize a friendly joke at their expense. People need to lighten up.
Great scene. "They're freaktastic!" All the principals in this movie are so great.

No, they probably deleted it for the same reason movies delete any scenes: it detracted from the flow of the movie. It stinks, but they have to think of the movie as a whole. Were those scenes really any more offensive than the stuff that makes it into other movies these days?

Why do people asume that girls that are in gymnastics/ballet are girlly and frilly frilly fru fur? I rember being in that shit and you had to work, or you get hurt. Its not fun. So stfu about the steryo types mkay? Most gymnests/ballerina's could kick ur ass.
