Some "wiggers" try way too hard, look stupid, and deserve some flack. The problem is that there are many people who don't overdo it like that and get the accusatory 'why you tryina be black?' when they clearly don't deserve it. Sometimes I just feel like enjoying excellent music by singers or emcees who it turns out are black. Sometimes I feel like being a good friend to the black people in my life without being so different from them that we can't relate. Also, 'black' does not equal gangsta.

THAT is what accounts for this phenomenon of "whiggerism" .
