This song is glorious. I had it on at my house one day, hanging out with friends and didn't realize it was on repeat. We hung out for like 45 mins before I was like, "sorry it's on repeat", and they said, "oh it's cool, this is a good song." It was another half hour before I moved on to another track.. on repeat... "Medicaid Benefit Aplique"... sick band and I don't know why they're not huge. I got to open for them in Minneapolis. Sweetest bunch of guys you could hope to meet.

Eerie song ... Eerie video ... Love it. I'm sure THE GIRAFFES are the answer to many people's prayers including mine. Real Musicology, Euphonic Diversity, Feel, Groove and poetry. Enough said. Hope I get to see them Live.
AMEN

Who am I? The word "law" is a clue

Libel against who? Actors? This is footage from films from the 30s to early 60s, not doc footage and ALL of it is within the public domain found on the Prelinger Archives website who encourage the use of their footage and stress that it can be edited in any fashion. I am not slandering any person or group within this video. If you took it as such you are clearly misreading it's intentions.

What are you talking about? The giraffes are my good friends and this happens to be one of several videos I have made in conjunction with them. If you are talking about the footage then all of it is taken from footage well within the public domain. Who are you to make such flagrant and baseless claims such as this?
"this happens to be one of several videos I have made in conjunction with them" hmm no you have no association with the Giraffes, particularly because you don't want to get sued

I will repeat what I have already stated, I am not in any way, shape or form a representative of the band.

You are full of it and you know it. We have a press release in which the classy band explains the facts upon which the defamatory song is based. The incident never happened and it's libel and slander. First you say it's your personal friend Louis Guthrie, then it's an imaginary fictional creature. What is it?

Listen Fartface, I never said he was a personal friend of mine, I believed he was a friend of the bands. I spoke to a couple of the guys last night and they actually filled me in. Now I'm clear on all of this and all I have to say is that you and your Louis friend are chock full of shit. I have no reason to doubt their account, Louis did some horrible things in high school and this is just karma. That being said the song is a freaking song, and no one would be giving this (cont)

part 2 ... No one would be giving this any attention at this point if you didn't come on to my humble youtube page (on multiple accounts) and harass a dude that has practically nothing to do with the band. This Louis jerk was a bully in the old days and he apparently still is, I mean your resorting to calling me Mcfly, here? Why don't you go Mcfuck yourself?

The title, Mcfly

@candilaw99 Louis Guthrie is a friend of the band, any similarity to another individual is purely coincidental. If you happen to be named Louis Guthrie then there is no reason you should take offense, the song was obviously not about you. You are barking up the wrong tree sir.
