This unique home coming celebration combines Mike Waterson, Martin Carthy, Norma Waterson, Eliza Carthy and extended family members live on stage performing "Bright Phoebus", "Fine Horseman", "Some Old Salty", "Shallow Brown", "The Good Old Way" and many more. The film also includes exclusive interviews with the family at their home; creating a career retrospective, looking back over 50 years as the first family of English folk music.
The Waterson Family at Hull Truck Theatre, recorded in Auguest 2010, has already been acclaimed by BBC Radio 2's Mike Harding as the Folk Event of the Decade.

RIP Mike, storyteller, song-writer, wit and son of Hull. Another Hull poet with Marvell, Larkin, Dunn etc. Some OldSalty - the best song about Hull Fair there ever was.
