@s1977spw2 It's meant to be a quirky love story, an unlikely pairing of two dissimilar people, if only by the age gap itself, it does sail very close to the wind though, in that even though she's meant to be over 16, she's still at school., and the difference in maturity, is what ultimately causes them to split up, in the end.

@cnutsdaughter Is one of them a Region 1 DVD? Cuz I recently got my copy, and though enjoyed the film, the quality and sound are horrible and its fullscreen. I kinda want to know where to get a better quality copy.

E6589B - Yes - I've got two full-length versions of the film on DVD and in both she's called Twinky. I live in the house that was used as the farm, where her grandfather (Trevor Howard) lived.

THE SONG IS CHOPPED TO SHIT, DON'T YOU PEOPLE KNOW THAT??!! The name TWINKY is cut out of every line so the stupid american distributor could call the film LOLA instead of TWINKY
