angiejules: Shows have "Directors" and "Musical Directors". They set the tempo, along with the artists. I listened to this carefully and find no off-key notes, which I presume you mean by "all over the place'. Whatever "pitchy" is I leave to you and your voice teacher or choir director or whatever. When you have made your living as a top Broadway actress for 30 years, give us your opinion. 'Til then, hold it.

Her tempo was way too fast, and the song suffers because of it. Her singing is all over the place and sounds very pitchy at times.

@fountainchain126 I saw this three times during it's run and the set design was perfect for the show. Very minimalistic where they wanted the acting to shine and be the main attraction, then during parts where it was supposed to be showy and glitzy (louise's strip and the let me entertain you numbers) the set was a bit more outrageous. You can do a show with literally no set if the actors are strong enough and it can be an absolute smash.

@MissMandaPandpants they put the mic under her wig, and its right infront of her hairline, but its fleshed tone. they dont do broadway shows without mics anymore.
