I must not know what I'm talking about. after all I only lived there for 3 years.
I really don't care anymore ether after the Affirmative action bullshit that happened in new york last month I don't plan to hang around this country any longer than it takes me to finish my degree.
I'll watch the US downfall from the side lines.

There are several countries with great healthcare. Japan is not the only good system.
The idea that the Japanese eat some insanely healthy diet is a lie. It is a myth. Have you ever eaten the food? They eat a lot of fried food, like katsu, and a hell of a lot of MSG and salt. True, they eat a lot of fish, but it isn't true that they eat an insanly healthy diet. Preventative healthcare is the key.

It isn't just healthcare that these people are healthy, it is primarily their lifestyle. They value quality over quantity. Just look at the food they eat and the amount of exercise they get as opposed to US citizens.

are you serious? Sweden, France, Britian.....hell even cuba has a better health care system then USA. France is ranked 1st in the world with healthist people and healthcare. Japan is only an example of what national healthcare can do. Sadly, Americans listen to stupid fear tactics than truth

A 'Human Dock' is basically a fairly intensive physical examination, right?
For people over 40 in Japan, I think a lot of local governments offer general 'human dock' examinations for free because they assume that it's better to have people's health checked (usually by private doctors at private clinics/hospitals) on a regular basis. Some people might call that 'socialism' (though I don't know why they'd say so); I call it effective public health. Japan's system is great - and cheaper, too.
