Normally I wouldn't ever upload a slash video because I don't generally watch anything with gay or lesbian characters, and it quite rather amuses me that everyone is shipping female ponies with other female ponies and male ponies with other male ponies in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, when male ponies actually exist in the ponyverse now as opposed to before when previous generations had few or no male ponies at all.
But when it comes to Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, I think that out of all the ponies they really could be a pairing, especially after reading my friend ButterSc0tchSundae's fic "The Party Never Ended" on deviantart.
The story in this video isn't exactly based on that fic though--rather it's a story about the relationship between Dash and Pinkie--with a bit of a love triangle in the form of Applejack. The story is partly canon. Pinkie Pie sees Rainbow Dash's rainbow and earns her cutie mark thanks to that event. The rest is a bit fanon, from my idea. Pinkie tells Dash she loves her, because Dash has had such a huge impact on her life. Dash doesn't know how to react, and holds off on responding. The things Dash has told Pinkie and shown her in the past rush through Pinkie's head!
At the same time everything Pinkie Pie's ever told or experienced with Rainbow Dash is rushing through Dash's head and she's not sure how to react either. Applejack enters the scene--someone who Dash has been attracted to for quite a while for her country brashness (her competitive attitude drives Dash wild.)
Pinkie Pie sees Applejack smacking Rainbow around and confronts her, angry, not realizing Dash likes that kind of thing (because she's a tomboy, and tomboys seem to like smackin' each other around). Then Pinkie thinks something's going on between Applejack and Dash, and being unable to catch Rainbow Dash to confront her about it, she confronts the only other person she thinks could know the truth--Spike the Dragon (He's Twilight's assistant, and Twilight is smart, right?). Spike confesses about how he's heard about Rainbow Dash and Applejack having a thing for each other, and Pinkie Pie...deflates. She feels upset and betrayed because she'd told Dash she liked her and thought Dash had chosen Applejack over her.
Meanwhile Rainbow Dash has a nervous breakdown over Pinkie liking her, and Applejack insults Pinkie Pie, saying that Pinkie Pie could never be dating material. Rainbow Dash yells at Applejack for saying that and realizes she loves Pinkie, and she goes to find Pinkie--who at that point has created a party with fake friends (Madame La Floure?) to fill the empty hole she has inside thinking she's lost Dash. Dash recounts how the two got their cutie marks as well as the good times they've had together, and tells her she'll always be there to let the party continue on (Again, story influenced by ButterSc0tchSundae xD)
And they have a very happy ending together. Do they kiss? I'll let you decide.

People, people, people. Why all the fighting? It's a video about love. And ponies. Remember the whole "tolerance" thing?
