As your fellow believer in Christ I would like to assure you that "Shut up and go back to the kitchen window like they tell you in your church" is not at all the attitude nor life these dear Christians display. May the life of God within us be expressed in our human living in all things we do, in or outside a Christian meeting.

smithpatti.....gosh dont pity us sisters..we have no rules and regulations concerning make up etc...each to his own.....jus some of the sisters choose not to wear it....and as for sisters not sitting in the front row... again its a sisters choice not to sit there..we dnt hav problems with such lilt minute issues..actually who cares....sit in the front.....plaster your face with make up....wear a clown suit, stand on your hed, no 1 will judge you...

Obviously not. It's by choice, we choose not to sit in the front. Well you're obviously not a God-man, so good luck with that. Hopefully, you figure out that without God you are nothing. You must be veiled, you don't see the young women in the Lord's Recovery. There's plenty of femininity, but there's also a sense of modesty. Actually, I hope you find GOD in general, not necessarily in the Lord's Recovery. By your words, I can see He's not living in you.

I'm guessing you have attended a Lord's table meeting? The first row is taken by the brothers, not by force. I myself have sat in the first row of a meeting many times, and I am female.

Look again, I wear makeup and earrings. What's wrong with not wearing them? They're beautifully naturally, they do not feel the need to wear it. A lot of the younger sisters wear makeup & jewelry. You must have missed that when you visited. We are not 'poor, poor people'. We are rich with the Lord!
