  • We cant have a peace process cuz the middle eastern are friggin nuts. Its the 21st century and they are still in the 18th ! They act like they blame us for it. We cant help it if they refuse to join the world in modern times. Look at the HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars we and the world has donated and they cant even build a bridge or school. Most of it goes to weapons and the leaders. EX Arafat he was kicked out of 3 other countries for terroist and he led the pals. YOU CANT DEAL with that

  • For instance I have my whole life been a supporter of Israel and active in promoting a real and lasting durable peace between Israel and its neighbors. J street seemed to have some promise but has lost my support because it does not reflect my concerns, interests or the direction I think will actually accomplish such a goal.

I'm very progressive/liberal & I've been disappointed w/ Jstreet who I think prioritizes selfpromotion rather than peace. I'm also tired of people demonizing AIPAC.

  • well i think i made the strongest response in suggesting that he's not informed enough in general to host such a topic.

I'm not interested in a debate persay, but its a little odd to promote something as a truth when Thom admits he hasn't read a report and then focusing a whole show on a topic that is likely to stall or even derail the real prospect of peace negotiations.

If the goal is peace maybe focusing on something that would promote it.

  • I understand what you mean. When I hear people say Ralph Nader "cost" Al Gore the presidency in 2000, the many ways I can refute that foolish argument all come to mind at once! So I lead with my strongest answer, "I voted for Nader. But were Nader not running in 2000, I would have voted for another small-party candidate, not Al Gore! What makes you think enough of Nader's votes would have gone to Gore were he not running?"

What's the strongest response to Thom Hartmann you would make?

  • i used 2 call a lot u have prob heard me on. Don;t know where 2 start.

  • You should give him a call.

What are the important things Thom Hartmann does not understand about the Middle East?

  • because its my opinion as a progressive and someone who's listend to thom for years. I also specialize in studying the ME and I find that he's just not capable of bringing the type of discussion needed into the process.

  • Why do you say that?

  • thom u always disappoint me when you speak about the middle east. Its beyond your expertise or real knowledge.
