  • Bullshit

  • This is not truthful... I have dmd

  • this video is not DMD i have DMD and its way different

  • mi bf has MD its so sad.

  • We made a film about our friend with DMD and are now out raising money to find a cure!!! DARIUS GOES WEST. Youtubeit and join us!

  • Another point that may be incorrect is the drawing of a boy who suffers from DMD: In the drawing, the claim is made that the muscles of the lower legs optain their size due to fat. I believe the above is due to scar-tissue and not due to fat. I may be wrong though.

  • Some info on DMD inheritance is misleading.Correct me if I am wrong, but Duchenne can not be inherrited from the father...Inheritance - X-linked recessive. DMD primarily affects boys, who inherit the disease through their mothers. Women can be carriers of DMD but usually exhibit no symptoms.

However, in the rare case of a DAUGHTER of an AFFECTED FATHER and a CARRIER MOTHER, then the daughter might have two bad X genes and get the disease itself (like an autosomal recessive disease).
